Highfield House is on a quiet lane on the edge of the village but only 200 meters from The Fox and Goose, which is known locally for its fine food, beer and wines.
There is an extensive network of footpaths and bridlepaths in Parracombe, we are only 1.5 miles from the South West Coast Path and the wonderful National Trust’s Hunters Inn and Heddon Valley. Sustrans cycle route 51 passes the door. The 310 bus from Barnstaple to Lynton comes through the village roughly one an hour.
By car, 10 minutes drive to Lynton, 2 minutes to Lynton and Barnstaple Steam Railway, 15 minutes to Combe Martin, 10 minutes NT Arlington Court – and Exmoor National Park all around!
